Beletalent Deepens Exchange with Portuguese-speaking Countries Traditional Medicine Seminar
Promote Innovation and Development in the Pharmaceutical Field
Recently, the Portuguese-speaking Countries Traditional Medicine Seminar, hosted by the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) and organized by the Guangdong–Macao Traditional Chinese Medicine Technology Industrial Park Development Co., Ltd, was held at the Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Industrial Park of Co-operation between Guangdong and Macao (hereinafter referred to as “GMTCM Park”) on October 22nd. Zhang Yongyan, Deputy General Manager of the Industrial Park Company, attended the special exchange meeting and warmly welcomed the participants of the seminar. During the meeting, she introduced the latest positioning, development concepts, platform advantages, and operational construction of the Industrial Park, hoping to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with government officials and scholars in the field of traditional medicine from Portuguese-speaking countries through this seminar.
It is understood that the seminar is composed of 15 participants from 7 Portuguese-speaking countries, including Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Mozambique, Portugal, and East Timor, mainly government officials in the field of traditional medicine and professional physicians.
Our company, as one of the outstanding representatives of the park, was invited to have in-depth interactive exchanges with representatives from various countries of the seminar. Senior Project Manager Chen Yunqin shared Beletalent’s innovative platform and traditional Chinese medicine R&D pipeline at the meeting, covering innovative medicines for traditional Chinese medicine advantages in chronic diseases such as “Tangning Tongluo Tablets” for metabolic diseases, “BD77” for respiratory infections, and the Brazilian registration of the large-variety drug “Yindan Xinnao Tong Soft Capsules” that has been on the market in China. 
The participants from the seminar showed a strong interest in “Tangning Tongluo Tablets” and consulted and discussed its therapeutic effects and application progress. Through this seminar, we have not only enhanced the connections with international peers but also contributed wisdom and strength to the future development of the global medical and health industry.
Feliciano Enger Higueiro, Director of the Traditional Medicine Department of the National Health Research Institute of the Ministry of Health of Angola, said that through this seminar, everyone has mastered many practical skills of traditional Chinese medicine, greatly broadening the member’s horizons and professional cognition. After returning to their home countries after the completion of studies, they will spare no effort to promote the culture and practice of traditional Chinese medicine. China has shown a very open and inclusive attitude in cultural exchange and medical sharing, hoping to have more opportunities to return to China in the future, not only to seek deeper cooperation and development in the promotion and application of traditional Chinese medicine but also to build a more solid bridge in the field of cultural exchange, jointly promote the progress of health affairs, and promote the friendship between the two countries.
During the event, the seminar, organized by the industrial park, visited our company’s National Technology Center Hengqin New Drug R&D Laboratory.
Beletalent is taking advantage of the construction of the integration of Hengqin and Macao, actively introducing high-quality varieties for Macao drug registration, in order to better serve the residents of Hengqin and Macao. At the same time, we will also take this seminar as an opportunity to expand cooperation with Portuguese-speaking countries and surrounding countries and regions, share new opportunities, and promote the voyage of traditional Chinese medicine to the world.
